Books for C.A.R.E.S.
I want to teach the CARES aspect of responsive classrooms early in the school year. What are some good picture books to use to teach those social skills. Thanks! I cannot wait to learn from all of your great ideas!
That is a great question, Ted. I am excited to see the books that Heather and Erin post and use them in my classroom at the beginning of the year also. Our meeting today got me thinking about setting up rules, procedures, etc. in my classroom this year. I am going to include a letter that I am going to give to parents at the beginning of the year and an outline of the first couple weeks in a Responsive Classroom class.
